Focal Point

Coach efficiently displays their bags at a new store by setting them on a brightly lit platform, which acts as the focal point of this display. Before seeing anything else, customers would be automatically intrigued by what exactly is on display on the platform, hence generating traffic to the store.

Saks Fifth Avenue promotes their lipstick with a simple yet effective focal point, by having a simple backdrop to a dramatic set of lips. Since the lips are so much darker than the surrounding area, it pops and draws customers in from afar, to see what the display is about. Once closer, customers would see the lipsticks on display, and with the sign saying "want it!", are encouraged to go in to see the variety of lipsticks carried.
